Exploring Bruges like a local 🇧🇪

Had the best time, man! The staff were super friendly, like proper chommies, and the brekkie was tasty with lovely pastries and warm options. My room was quite unique with those open beams, just my vibe, you know?

Only downside was the lighting in the room, a bit too dim for my liking, but I made it work.

    Surprisingly Delightful Experience!

Centrally located and surprisingly spacious, my stay was uplifted by friendly staff and a hearty breakfast each morning. The bright decor was refreshing, making it a cozy retreat after exploring beautiful Bruges. Pro tip, definitely request an air-conditioned room during the summer to ensure a comfortable night's sleep!

    spacious room
    good breakfast
    welcoming service
    limited lighting

My stay at Hotel Augustyn was delightful. The spacious room featured charming open beams that added character, while the breakfast offered a good selection of options, including delightful pastries. A minor challenge was the limited lighting, but the warm atmosphere ensured comfort. Loved my time here!

    charming balcony
    canal view
    peaceful escape
    soundproofing issues
    noisy neighbors

The hotel’s charming balcony overlooking the canal was delightful. I could sip my coffee while enjoying the lovely view, which felt like a scene from a romantic movie. Such a peaceful escape amid Bruges' bustling charm!

Better soundproofing to ensure peaceful nights.

    spacious room
    generous breakfast
    historic ambiance
    outdated furnishings
    cramped bathroom

The rooms boast generous space, perfect for families. A solid breakfast spread offers a variety of options, although the layout can feel crowded during busy hours.

Unfortunately, the room I stayed in had some outdated furnishings that made it feel less than cozy. The bathroom setup was quite cramped, leading to a bit of discomfort. The lack of air conditioning might be an issue in warmer months, and I found the bar's operating hours a bit limiting, closing too early after a day of exploring.

    friendly staff
    plentiful breakfast
    limited lighting
    inconvenient access
    staircase access

The small double room exuded a warm and cozy atmosphere, complemented by friendly staff eager to assist with parking and dining arrangements. Breakfast options were plentiful, featuring delightful hot waffles. the limited lighting in the room made some areas quite gloomy, and the daunting staircase access to higher floors may be inconvenient for some guests. Still, the hotel's location near a canal and only a short walk from the city center adds significant charm to the experience.
